Why Authenticity and Empathy are Essential for Leadership

Authenticity and empathy are two key qualities that can make a significant impact on leadership effectiveness. Authenticity involves being true to oneself and transparent with others, which builds trust and credibility among team members. Empathy, on the other hand, is the ability to understand and share the feelings of others, allowing leaders to connect on a deeper level and make decisions with compassion.

You are here because you are already empathetic. You would not have been drawn to my work if that was not already YOU. While we love our empathy, it can sometimes lead us to abandon self - that is why the combination of authenticity and empathy in this case is somewhat ironic.
